 Organization Description:  SignUpGenius simplifies the process of coordinating events and people by providing online signups for nonprofits, schools, sports, churches, families, colleges, businesses and organizations.
 By enabling up to 18 million unique visitors per month to sign up for tasks online, SignUpGenius
 has done away with the need for paper sign ups, "reply-all" emails and phone trees. Working for

 maintain the largest volunteer management service on the internet.
 Responsibilities:  
Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end procedures including review of generalledger postings; assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
Prepare and review balance sheet accounts and reconciliations including cash andcredit card activity
Manage intercompany transactions, including elimination entries and multiple currenciesProperly track and record stock compensation expense under appropriate accountingregulations
Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processesPrepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements and ad hoc financial reportsEnsure appropriate revenue recognition for all recurring and new contracts and salesAssist with payroll administrationIdentify and research complex accounting issuesPrepare and review accounts payable and disbursementsPrepare billing and review accounts receivable for collectabilityReview contracts and any new business activities for appropriate accounting treatmentMaintain vendor, customer, and other filesRecommend changes to accounting procedures as neededAnswer accounting and financial questions by interpreting dataAssist with special projects as required Requirements:  
4+ years of experience in accounting - public, private, or bothBachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or AccountingCPA license strongly preferredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent mathematical skillsHigh attention to detailVery strong communication skillsEffective time management skillsAbility to multi-task in fast-paced environmentCapacity to own certain accounting functions as well as be hands-on with day-to-day activities Terms of Employment:
