~ONE APPOINTMENT PER PERSON~
The Bucks County Health Department is providing FREE COVID-19 testing to those noted below as being eligible. Please plan for testing and results to take 15-30 minutes.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR TESTING? If one does not meet any of these requirements, BCDH will not test you.
- Bucks County School Employees, Bucks County School Contractors, and Bucks County students K-12 who have: Symptoms of COVID-19; or
- Have been notified by their school that they are excluded for a period of time as a close contact of a positive case and are looking for "early release" from the exclusion through a negative test per the School District Health and Safety Plan. Must wait at least 5 days, after being in contact with a positive case, before making an appointment to be tested.
Employees and contractors must bring your school ID, paystub or proof of employment on district letterhead from principal for verification. for verification. You will not be tested without this information.
Specially trained personnel will be available to assist and support your use of this self-administered swab test. Parents/legal guardians will administer the Rapid Test to their child.
Students under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or have a note from parent/guardian with permission for child to be tested.
*If you have tested positive in the last 90 days, BCDH will not retest you.
**If you need proof of a negative test for sports, recitals, dances, BCDH will not test you.
***Testing is not to be used as proof of negative result for travel purposes, BCDH will not test you.
