We extend a very warm welcome to all of our parishioners and guests of St. Edmund Parish! We are happy you will be joining us for mass this weekend. Please note that a reservation is required in order to attend mass. This is due to the number of worshippers allowed under the current Archdiocesan guidelines.
All attendees (adults and children) must be included by name in the signup. A household may sign up together by including all names in the comment section and choosing the correct # of attendees so that all are counted toward the maximum attendance.
If someone does not have the ability to register online, he or she can contact the parish center office for assistance at (708) 848-4417 Ext. 2011 and ask for Christine Rousakis. Please leave your name, phone number, the mass you wish to attend and someone will follow up with you.
Please arrive 15 minutes before mass begins as you will need to check in at the reservation table. Upon arrival, you will be asked several routine COVID-19 questions, a requirement before attending mass.
You can only enter church through the Murphy Corridor which is accessible via two doors: 1) The alley door located near the parking lot (by the wheelchair accessible ramp) and 2) the Oak Park side door located by the Holy Family statue.
We ask that you adhere to these guidelines:
- Monitor yourself for symptoms of illness. If you are not feeling well, please wait to attend church once you have recovered.
- If you have traveled outside of the country or within the United States to a state deemed as a hot zone, we ask that you refrain from attending mass for 14 days. The same applies if you have been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. Additionally, if you believe you may have been exposed but are not sure, we ask that you take extra precaution and refrain from attending mass for 14 days since the exposure.
- Everyone over the age of 2 must wear a mask while at church. The mask must cover both the nose and mouth. We ask for your cooperation in following the social distancing and sanitizing guidelines as set by the AOC and implemented by our St. Edmund Reopening Leadership Team. This is for your safety and the safety of all members of our parish community.
