Saint Mary's Food Kitchen

Curé of Ars serves 350+ people every third Monday of each month. In doing the Corporal Work of Mercy not only are those in need receiving food and drink, it is an opportunity for Curé parishioners to come together as a community. It takes a parish community to do it…your help is needed. Please sign up below to provide food, volunteer your time, or donate funds to help Curé feed the homeless and the food insecure.

FOOD DONATIONS

Step 1: Click on the "SIGN UP" check box of the item or items below that you would like to donate. Go to Step 2 to complete sign up.

Step 2: Click "Submit And Sign Up" button...enter your information then click "SIGN UP NOW"...sign up is complete and you will receive a confirmation email. ***If you do not receive a confirmation email resubmit your sign up***

When/Where to Drop off donations-- Volunteers will be available to receive your donation in front of Curé of Ars Church between 7:15 - 8:20 a.m on Monday, the day we serve. PLEASE PUT YOUR NAME ON YOUR DONATION.
***If you cannot bring your donation on the day that we serve, call/text Jacqueline Elbert (816.520.3620) to arrange an alternate day & time***

VOLUNTEERING OF TIME

1) Food preparation and serving - Volunteers will meet in front of the Fr. Burak room at 8:00 a.m. to caravan to St. Mary's (645 Nebraska Ave., Kansas City, KS 66101 - Wilhelmina Gill Services Center). We will leave at 8:20am then return around 1:30 p.m.

2) Serving lunch and drinks - Volunteers need to be at St. Mary's Food Kitchen between 10:30 - 10:50 a.m.
