Foundation for the Homeless
We are making accommodations to serve our neighbors experiencing homelessness to ensure that we can still provide for the needs of the most vulnerable without putting anyone, especially our vulnerable neighbors, at greater risk.
Breakfast "to-go" is being served each Tuesday and Thursday outside of the Family Life Center of First United Methodist Church, 1300 Lavaca. We need a group of volunteers to serve in various roles the morning of the breakfast.
We request that all volunteers:
Please review the attached FMP Emergency Protection Procedures before serving. We will also review onsite.
Please do not volunteer if:
- You have experienced a fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or greater, a new cough, new loss of taste or smell, or shortness of breath within the past 10 days.
- In the past 10 days,
- You have tested positive for COVID-19.
- You have been in close contact (within 6 feet for at least 10 minutes) with anyone while they had COVID-19.
- In the past 14 days, have you traveled internationally or returned from a state having widespread community transmission of COVID-19.
Those signing up for a role serving outside must not be in the at-risk categories of over the age of 60 or have heart disease, diabetes, or lung disease.
Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Do not sign up for more than one slot on a given day.
Groups of 3 or more are asked to contact Randy at [email protected] We need each individual to signup with their own email address for the specific role they will serve in. Thank you!
