Volunteer Opportunity for Art Lovers
The Art of Music Art Raffle will not occur in the Marjorie Evans Gallery this year, but we WILL have six distinguished local artists represented at a silent auction in the foyer of Sunset Center. We need a volunteer to be at the two tables where the art will be displayed on easels when the foyer is open, most certainly before each main concert for about 45 minutes.
The tasks include:
Protecting the art from being touched or moved.
Sharing how the closed bidding works and giving patrons material so that they can bid.
Returning the art to a secured nearby location at the end of each volunteer shift.
There will be a mandatory training (date TBD) in the foyer one afternoon the week of July 11th to introduce you to the art, share the particulars of how the closed bidding system works, showing you where the art will be stored and any other information that will make this workable for you as a volunteer.
After sign-ups close, you will be contacted by a CBF staff member and provided further details.
