Volunteer at the Child Safeguarding Mass and Pinwheel Project

Recognizing April as Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Holy Name Cathedral Young Adults are coordinating a Mass focusing on child safety.  After the April 27th 5:15pm Saturday mass, parishioners are invited to participate in “planting” blue and white pinwheels throughout the grounds of the cathedral.  Collections and additional pinwheels will be passed out after masses on Sunday 4/28.  The Pinwheel is the new national symbol for child abuse prevention. Pinwheels will also be available after Sunday Masses for those who wish to participate.

We are in need of volunteers for the 5:15pm Saturday 4/27 mass and after the Sunday masses to assist in carrying out this wonderful event.  All are welcome to volunteer, including visitors and members of our parishes.  Please see the Sign-up genius for more details on roles and timeslots.  Please contact the Young Adults at [email protected] for more details or any questions.
