Thank you for volunteering to work in the Bruin Athletic Boosters Club Concession Stand. Your help is vital to the success of the Bruin Athletic Boosters Club, as it is one of the biggest fundraisers to support the Bruins' sports programs. This is a fun & easy way to be involved in your child's sports :) Proceeds support every Bruin sport.
Concession stand shifts are set for Boys & Girls, V games separately. Every Spring Team has been assigned specific events which their team is responsible for staffing. The responsible team is also listed in the Location column along with how many volunteers from that team. If you want to volunteer and can't cover your own team's list, feel free to sign up in any slot you can cover. Volunteers are always appreciated. The Concession Stand for Spring events is located outside at the entrance to the stadium. Your shift duties may include: food prep & cooking, food service, taking orders, cash handling and clean-up at closing. You will be given your assignment (along with details/instructions) when you report to the stand. For most events, shifts start 30 minutes prior to game time and the end time is a "goal" where we are finished cleaning & locking the door, however, that time may be adjusted based on sales volume, game delays and/or overtime games. If a GAME is RESCHEDULED due to weather or other events, please notify us if you cannot cover the rescheduled time. If you can arrange for someone to take your shift that would be appreciated!
For each volunteer shift you fulfill, your name will automatically be entered into an end-of-season drawing for either a $100, $50 or $25 Visa Gift Card.
Please note, if we do not have enough volunteers for an event, the concession stand WILL NOT open or will only offer a limited menu!
