Bread of Healing Clinic Vaccine Help
CAN YOU HELP THE BREAD OF HEALING CLINIC CONTINUE TO GIVE COVID-19 VACCINES?
REVISED SCHEDULES, beginning June 1, 2021
Church-based clinics and Mobile Delivery Teams to Homebound
- Each church-based clinic needs a greeter, a paper-pusher, a drawer of doses and a vaccinator.
- Each vaccine delivery team needs: 1 RN, MD or RPh, and 1 paperwork handler.
- Clinics on Thursday and Friday are at Cross Lutheran Church at 1821 N. 16th St., Milwaukee.
- Clinics on Wednesdays are at Travelers Rest Ministries at 5975 N. 40th St., Milwaukee.
Greeter requires no medical expertise. Meet people at the door. Ask them 2 COVID related questions. Check their temperature with an infra-red thermometer. Pass them onto the Paperpusher, or to the clinic (if not there for a vaccine).
Paperpusher requires no medical expertise. Hand out paperwork for vaccines, assist in filling out the information, collect the paperwork. Pass the person onto the Vaccine Booster.
Diluter and Drawer of Doses requires some medical expertise and experience with drawing up fluid into a syringe and diluting a liquid. This does require some exactness, so that we get the required # of vaccines from each vial (i.e., OCD traits may be beneficial for this position). RN, MD, DO, RPh are all capable of functioning in this role.
Vaccine Booster requires experience in IM injections. A syringe will be handed to you with the required dosing for the COVID vaccine. You will review the paperwork provided by each recipient and then deliver the vaccine to his/her arm. You will document which arm and which dose were given.
Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. THANK YOU!
Please note: Volunteering does now guarantee receiving the COVID vaccine, if you have not yet received it. In fact, no need even to volunteer! We have vaccines! Contact me.
