Rehearsals will be January 13 - February 6. There will be 8 performances on Thursday Nights at 9 PM at PianoFight in San Francisco. Performance dates are Feb 6,13,20,27, March 5,12,19, & 26. Non-AEA, actors will be provided with a $250 stipend.
Beckah (F) Early 20’s - YouTube sensation at a young age. As an adult, began dating Bryan and started a couple's channel, Beckah & BryBry. They have tens of millions of subscribers, multiple brand deals, and perpetually sold out merch. She has a public persona on her channel (wild, unpredictable party girl) but when the cameras are off, she’s disconnected, passive, and out of touch with her feelings. Note: Make-up skills a plus, character creates several "looks" while onstage.
Bryan (M) Early 20’s - Boyfriend to Beckah. He loves the spotlight and has a hard time seeing the difference between good and bad attention. He often takes videos too far for views. To him, the cameras are never off. He loves Beckah’s on-camera persona because it feels as though he’s met his match. But he knows when the cameras are off, she shuts down and he can manipulate her pretty easily. Note: This is a physically demanding role, the character is fit and in good shape, does 30-40 pushups on stage.
Owen (M) Early 20’s - Beckah & BryBry assistant and friend to Bryan. He’s undiagnosed ADHD and often has a hard time staying focused. He has some self esteem issues around this but covers it by leaning into his thrill-seeking side, often egging on Bryan when he’s taking things too far.
Sam (F or NB) Early 20’s - New camera person for Beckah & BryBry channel. This is their first solo video with the channel. The previous camera person left under unusual circumstances, but they see this as an incredible, high-profile opportunity. Additionally, they have a score to settle.
Actors of all races and gender identities are encouraged to audition.
