Genius Hack: Offer Payment Discounts on Your Sign Ups

Everybody likes a deal, right? With our SignUpGenius payments platform, you can add discounts to your sign up when you collect payments.

Offer discounts two ways: by a particular date of purchase or when a certain quantity of items is purchased. You can boost your sales and people can take advantage of those deals. It's a win-win!

Use Discounts to:

• Offer an early-bird deal for camp registration or ticket sales.
• Give a discount to people who purchase multiple products or classes/seminars.
• Encourage early registration for 5K races, after-school clubs and fitness classes.

Get Started

To get started, begin creating your sign up. When you get to the Slots tab and select the option to Add a Slot (such as "full-day camp" or "beginning yoga class,"), select the box next to Collect Money on that screen.

This will reveal the options to set up your payment details. From there, select the option to Offer a discount based on date or quantity.

Once you check that option, you can select to offer a discount By date of purchase or By quantity of this item purchased. You can then enter the details of your discount.

Repeat the process if you need to add the discount option to more than one slot. Once you publish the sign up and invite others, they can see the discount on the sign up.
