SignUpGenius Revenue Surges Through First Half of Year

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — SignUpGenius, the leading online sign up service for event and volunteer management, reported strong growth through the first half of the year, recording a 66 percent increase in revenue compared to the same period the year before.

The company's Pro tools, which help power planners and organizations such as nonprofits, businesses and schools, led the way, recording a 90 percent increase in revenue for the first half of the year compared to the same period the year before.

"We're preparing for the fall season, traditionally SignUpGenius' busiest time as planning needs increase for school, sports, church and community activities," said Marketing Strategist Kate White. "We are so thankful that year after year, more people trust SignUpGenius to help them organize events and volunteers than any other sign up tool on the market."

About 32 million unique users visited SignUpGenius during the first half of the year, and the company projects 71 million people will use the site in 2016.

I am a huge fan of SignUpGenius. I am a second career nurse in northern Virginia at a large teaching hospital where I work on the labor unit with 120 fabulous coworkers. The nurses have to sign up for eight hours of "call" each schedule of four weeks. After two months of getting the staff prepared mentally for online call, I'm pleased to say our maiden voyage was a huge success. All 84 nurses signed up within 24 hours, which was unheard of. We usually have to stalk and threaten. Thanks SignUpGenius. I'm a fan forever.
