Celebrating Summer the Genius Way
It's hard to believe it, but vacation time is almost over at SignUpGenius. August kicks off our busy season — and we can't wait to help you plan all your school, church, sports and group activities.
Before the planning fever takes hold, we took some time to relax and celebrate the current season with a tasty summer potluck and beach ball toss. A standout dish was Genius Developer James Bulas' Homemade Spicy & Sweet Pecans — whose father just happens to craft the "secret" ingredient! Other potluck favorites were Genius Senior Support Analyst Amy Tidwell's Banana Pudding and Genius COO/CMO Angel Rutledge's Strawberry Chicken Salad.
After enjoying a big meal (after all, helping out our users burns lots of calories), our staff got to know each other a bit better with a beach ball toss. As staff members caught the ball, they had to answer questions written in marker on it, prompting us to respond to questions like "What's your life philosophy?" or "What one ice cream flavor would you pick to eat for your whole life?" Deep thoughts, we know!
