A passionate advocate for teaching and patient care, Dr. Carmen Presti is training the next generation of genius nurses at University of Miami's School of Nursing and Health Studies.

The assistant professor teaches up to three different courses with three sets of students each semester, organizing 30 to 60 meetings with students in her classes.

"Having to manage meetings with students used to be extremely time consuming," Presti says. "Student requests to meet with me used to clog up my email and resulted in many back and forth emails and sometimes miscommunication."

Presti says she simplified her meeting schedule with SignUpGenius by adding unique sign up links into the University of Miami's learning management system.

"I can offer the dates and times I am available, and students can schedule, cancel and re-schedule appointments without my having to send emails constantly," Presti says.

One of her favorite features is downloadable reports, which she uses to keep records of her meetings with students.

"I love SignUpGenius and can't imagine having to keep track of meetings without it," Presti says. "It has truly saved me countless hours of emailing and frustration."

We feel like A+ scholars for making group organizing simpler for Presti and her students. That's genius!

Just a note to say how much I love SignUpGenius. I'm coaching a team from Team-in-Training that is fundraising and training to ride 100 miles around Lake Tahoe to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We have weekly training rides that need volunteer support and a need to get RSVPs from the cyclists so I know who will show up at team rides. Using SignUpGenius, I have ride support volunteers for almost all our rides through early May. This has been like pulling teeth in the past. It was so simple to set up and send out and easy for the volunteers to sign up.
