SignUpGenius is hiring a Content Marketing Manager to help shape and drive our multi-channel content strategy. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to lead the creation and optimization of engaging content across our website, blog, social media, email, and video platforms, all while boosting our brand storytelling, SEO performance, and demand generation. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our talented marketing, product, and design teams to ensure our content aligns with our broader business goals. Plus, you'll manage external creators and harness AI tools to make everything more efficient and personalized. Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and enhance strategies for SEO, demand generation, and brand storytelling content.
- Ensure brand content guidelines are followed for consistency.
- Develop and oversee a comprehensive editorial calendar for blogs, videos, social media, and email.
- Develop and execute a keyword strategy to improve search visibility.
Website Content Optimization
- Own and optimize web content to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Implement SEO strategies and create user-focused, engaging website copy.
- Utilize AI tools for personalized content and enhanced performance.
- Monitor and analyze performance with analytics tools; refine strategies based on insights.
Brand Development
- Maintain and develop brand voice and messaging across all platforms.
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance the company’s narrative and public relations strategy.
Content Creation & Distribution
- Create and repurpose content across various formats, including blogs, guides, videos, and webinars.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve content across paid, organic, and partner channels while aligning with broader goals.
- Create video content for multiple platforms in collaboration with design and production teams.
- Conduct interviews with customers, stakeholders, and partners to create thought leadership pieces.
AI-Driven Marketing
- Leverage AI tools for ideation, content creation, and optimization.
- Experiment with AI-driven personalization and stay updated on emerging trends.
Performance Measurement & Team Leadership
- Monitor and evaluate content performance metrics; enhance for engagement, traffic, and conversions.
- Provide consistent reporting and practical insights.
- Manage content creators, freelancers, and agencies.
- Guide content creators, freelancers, and others to scale production.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing (B2C, B2B, or SaaS), business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience that uniquely qualifies you for the responsibilities of this role.
- At least five years of progressive work experience in marketing and content, preferably in a high-growth SaaS or B2C environment.
- Demonstrated success in SEO, high-performing content, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in CMS platforms (e.g., Sanity, WordPress), SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) is preferred.
- Exceptional writing and editing, as well as video editing skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, demand generation, PR, and design.
- Ability to manage multiple content projects, priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in leading content teams or agencies is a plus.
- A team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
- A positive, flexible, can-do attitude.
