Reunion Pools - Rec Center and Southlawn
This Signup Genius will be used to sign up online for pool reservations at both locations - the Recreation Center Pool and Southlawn Pool.
Please read the following rules carefully when considering reservations:
-LIKE MOST AGENCIES ACROSS COLORADO, OUR CONTRACTOR THAT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIRING LIFEGUARDS (YMCA) CONTINUES TO STRUGGLE TO FIND SEASONAL STAFF. THIS ISSUE WILL DRAMATICALLY LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WE CAN SAFELY ALLOW IN OUR POOLS. ALTHOUGH THIS SITUATION IS NOT IDEAL, WE ASK FOR YOUR CONTINUED PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING DURING THIS PROCESS OF HIRING AND TRAINING ADDITIONAL LIFEGUARDS.
-Because of our current lifeguard shortage, at this time, we are limited to one pool being opened per day. Hours for each pool is currently 12-530p with the following timeslots: 12-130p, 2-330p, and 4-530p. Southlawn Pool will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The Recreation Center Pool will be open Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
-Reservations are limited to same household family members ONLY! At this time we will not allow guests of any kind as we look to maximize our residents' opportunities to use the pool this summer.
**PLEASE READ AS THIS HAS CHANGED.***- PLEASE SIGN UP AS A FAMILY, NOT EACH INDIVIDUAL PERSON. Each family is limited to 6 people per household. Reservations are currently limited to 12 families (45 total people per timeslot) at the Rec Center Pool; 12 families (45 total people per timeslot) at the Southlawn Pool. Each family may visit the Reunion Pools up to a to 2 times per week (not 2 times per pool), visiting only once per day. Reservations will be limited to 1.5-hour blocks.
* When signing up, PLEASE include the total number of people in your party so we can get an accurate count. Please enter this information in the comments section*
If we can allow more people (after tabulating the number of people in the timeslots), we will open additional slots. Please continue to check back.
-At arrival, each person (7 years and up) must scan into the facility using their resident ID card. If you lost your card, please stop by the Recreation Center for a ($5) replacement card.
-Each family may visit the Reunion Pools up to a to 2 times per week (not 2 times per pool), visiting only once per day. Reservations will be limited to 1.5-hour blocks. At the end of each block, staff will clean and sanitize prior to the next group's arrival. A new Signup Genius will be created each week. Each new sign up will be available by Friday afternoon for the following week.
-Please keep in mind that we reserve the right to cancel reservations. This could include unforeseeable cold weather temperatures (air temperature needs to be in minimum of 65 degrees), lightning, mechanical issues, "accidents" in the pool, etc.
-PLEASE, if you cannot make a reservation, please cancel from your email confirmation. This will allow others to get your spot. We can't express enough how important it is to cancel your reservation if you can't make it as we will continue to try our best to accommodate as many residents as possible.
-Please arrive "pool ready" when you come to the pool. Residents are encouraged to shower at home immediately prior to arriving at the pools. It's also wise to shower when you arrive home after your visit.
-No pool toys, or flotation devices will be supplied by the pool staff. Small pool toys will be permitted; however, they cannot be shared with others.
-Lost and Found will not be available; if you bring it, take it home.
-Residents are encouraged to wear masks when arriving and leaving. MASKS CANNOT BE WORN IN THE POOL.
-ALL SHOULD CONTINUE TO REMAIN A SAFE DISTANCE OF 6 FEET FROM OTHERS OUTSIDE THEIR HOUSEHOLD.
-We will have limited furniture and umbrellas at the pools; placed safely from others. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE THE FURNITURE AND UMBRELLAS!
-Children must be monitored at all times.
-All must vacate the pool when the last whistle is blown.
-Only one family group, or one person, is allowed in the bathroom at one time. We encourage all to wear a mask while in the bathrooms. Please wash hands prior to leaving the bathrooms.
-If you or someone in your party has COVID-19 symptoms, or has been exposed to someone with symptoms, please stay home.
-This year will create numerous challenges for all of us. Please be considerate to the lifeguards and staff. Please understand that we continue to do our best to serve the most people as safely as we can.
We appreciate everyone's support with these rules.
LET'S MAKE IT A GREAT SUMMER!!!
