St. Joseph Parish

Flowers for St. Joseph

During the Year of St. Joseph, we have moved our statue of St. Joseph forward to a more prominent location in the front corner of the church. There are votive candles, a kneeler, and prayer cards available to invite moments of prayer.

Beginning in the Easter season, members of the parish are invited to bring in flowers to place by the statue. There will be a vase in front of the statue to hold the donated flowers. The vase is about 5 inches wide at its narrowest, and curves outward at the top. 1-3 small bunches of flowers can fit well. While the lily is the traditional flower representing St. Joseph, please feel free to choose other flowers as well. Flowers can be from a florist or simply from your home garden. Water will already be in the vase, and Theresa Slott will make sure the flowers are maintained.

As the 19th of the month is highlighted during this Year of St. Joseph (the Feast of St. Joseph is March 19), sign-ups will be on the 19th of each month, as well as two weeks in between to keep the flowers fresh. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you!

St. Joseph, pray for us!
