PLEASE NOTE: As of December 1, 2020, all rabbits using SDHRS services will need to be vaccinated against RHDV2. Proof of vaccination must be provided to SDHRS prior to your appointment to [email protected] If your rabbit has been housed outside or has been outside to play in the last 30 days, we will be unable to groom your rabbit. A vaccine is required annually to continue protection against RHDV.
NOTICE: Grooming appointments are drop off appointments only. When you arrive at our facility, please come to the window where you will see a grooming sign. We will then receive your bunny at the window and take them into groom and then bring them out to you. During this time, we will take your payment. Once your bunny has been groomed, we will call you to pick up your bunny at the door.
Please note: Sign up is for one bunny per slot. If you have more than one bunny, please sign up for the appropriate number of slots or we will not be able to accomdate your grooming appointment.
If your rabbit is sick or has fleas, we will also be unable to groom your rabbit(s) at this time.
Please call ahead of time if your rabbit has long fur or is matted or needs extra care above light grooming and a nail trim. We will have to schedule that appointment for you.
Starting June 1, 2020, due to costs brought on by COVID-19 and RHDV2, our grooming service prices for your bunny will change to the following (please bring your membership card to verify membership, if no membership card is presented, we will charge for public pricing):

(Note: Because we care about your rabbit's safety and well being, we want to assure you that every effort will be made to make your rabbit's grooming experience as pleasant as possible. Occasionally, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur before, during or after grooming. In the best interest of your rabbit, if we discover a possible medical problem, we will stop grooming and advise that you see a vet. This can include mites, fleas, urine scaled, etc. By signing up for your grooming appointment, you give SDHRS permission to provide services below and hold SDHRS, our Board Members, and staff and volunteers harmless in the event of any accidental injury to your rabbit and you guarantee that your rabbit(s) has no pests such as fleas or other communicable conditions)
PLEASE NOTE: Grooming appointments are not wellness/health checks for your rabbit. They are not a replacement for a veterinarian visit.
All fees and payments are non- refundable.
