Riveroaks Worship

General Guidelines

  • In accordance with CDC guidelines, individuals in at-risk groups are encouraged to remain at home and join us for worship online. This group includes persons over the age of 65, those who have health issues that make them vulnerable to COVID-19, such as cardiovascular issues, obesity, and high blood pressure.
  • Please remain at home if you test positive for COVID-19 or come into contact with someone who has tested positive, or if you are sick, running a fever, or showing signs of illness. It would be helpful to let the church office know so we can pray for those involved and proceed with caution as a community.
  • The Sunday service will consistent of the regular order of worship we have been using during this time, but it will not include congregational singing. We will have special music instead.
  • The nursery will not be open during this time, so we would ask that if you have young children under the age of 5, please wait until we are able to provide that ministry to you. If you do bring your children, we will follow the CDC guidelines and ask that all children over the age of 2 should wear a mask. Also, please speak to them about the way this service will be different from previous services.

On-site Practices

  • At this point, masks are required as we enter the sanctuary. Masks help prevent the spread of this virus, so we want to take all the precautions we can. Only the minister, special singers, and children under two will not have masks on during the service.
  • Observe social distancing guidelines that maintain a social distance of 6 feet between yourself and others outside your family unit.
  • Please make use of the hand sanitizer located at the entrance of the sanctuary.
  • Restrooms will be open for emergency cases. Please use the restroom before coming to the church if possible.
