Book Sale Volunteers

The Friends of the Richmond Free Library's annual

Friday, February 14, 5:30 - 8:30 pm

Saturday, February 15, 9 am - 3 pm

We need VOLUNTEERS to make this happen!

Please help with setting up or working at the book sale.

Wednesday, Feb. 12, 3:30 - 5:30 pm: Set up - In need of strong people (and maybe a truck?)! Move furniture out of the community room. Move tables over from church, set up tables per diagram. Move boxes of books down from storage, then start opening and setting up onto categorized tables. Great opportunity for students needing community service hours. Take bus to library to help. Pizza is involved!

Thursday, Feb 13, 9 - 12: Set up - Continue setting up books by category. If the weather is an issue, we will finish on Friday during the day.

Friday and Saturday - Book Sale - Can you help fill these slots for various duties during the book sale? Can you help clean up at 3:00 on Saturday? This would involve packing leftover books in boxes and moving them, putting tables away, moving furniture and sweeping. You will be serenaded by music throughout the sale!

Accepting clean donations until Friday, Feb. 7. Please bring to the circulation desk for pre-screening.
