Chaverim 9th Grade 2019-20

Chaverim 9th Grade 2019-20

What's For Dinner?

Chaverim has a tradition called, “What’s For Dinner?” This is an opportunity for parents to provide a meaningful meal while doing a good deed (mitzvah) for the students. It is very helpful and cost effective when each family provides one meal (please, no meat) during the school year. Dinner should be for approximately 25 hungry students, including main dish and side dishes, brought to class ready to eat (preheated). We will bring cups, plates, silverware, drinks and dessert. We will provide dinner for students with gluten, dairy or other allergies. (If your student has restrictions, please let us know at the beginning of the year.) Thank you for your generosity!

Dinner suggestions

Potato cheese veggie casserole; non-meat pizza; tamale casseroles; pasta dishes; bean dishes, baked potato bar; veggie burritos; veggie tacos; rice dishes; veggie sub sandwiches; salads; veggie Chinese food.
