Is there a way for one person in the group to have access to the sign up before everyone else? Can I sign up someone other than myself?

Hi Lorrie. When you want to prevent any last minute changes or sign ups, you can change the sign up access by adding an access code. To do this, log into your account. Under "Sign Ups I've Created," click "View" beneath the sign up, and you should see an Administrator's Toolbar at the top of the sign up page. Click the "Edit Content" tab. Go to Step 5: Settings, and under "Optional Advanced Settings" select "Require my users to enter an access code to view my sign up." and enter the access code. Make sure you click "Update" at the bottom of the page to save this change.
Keep in mind that this does present a problem in that now the only people who can access the sign up are those who have the access code. So, if you make this change too early, people who need to access the sign up to see what they signed up for will not be able to do that.
An option to avoid these problems would be to send an email to everyone who has signed up for something and tell him/her that the sign up is locked and if they have questions about their sign up to contact you directly. There is a button on the Administrator's Toolbar called "Send Email." You can use that to send out an email to your group.
I hope this will help you with your sign up!

Is there a way to stop sign ups and changes 48 hours prior to an event?

Hi Kelly. Great question - and yes, you can add a link within your sign up description. Edit your sign up and go to the general details tab of the sign up configuration screens. Look for the little icon that looks like chain links to insert a link. We have many users that post documents to a site like GoogleDocs and then link them into their sign up. Hope that helps!

Is it possible to post a link or a document with our sign-up. For example, we would like to post the SOP for working concessions.

Great question, Maureen.
As new people sign up from outside your original group, they are not automatically added to the group. You can generate a custom report to pull your emails and add to the group - which would be a quick way to keep your group current. Any duplicate emails would not be re-added to your group. If you have any other questions, please contact us on support and we will be happy to assist further.

I was wondering as people sign up for a new time slot, will those names automatically be added to my group distribution list? It appears that they do not. How do I keep the group list current…and growing if possible? Let me know if this is something I must maintain manually, of if the list grows as new people join a particular signup list. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the feedback. It's a great idea and I do think we'll provide customizable themes in the future. In the meantime, be sure to check out the "colors" category where we have a selection of lots of different color schemes for sign ups. Thanks for writing!

Hey how about letting us pick our own colors for backgrounds from a color grid. I really like the icons that you have but want to change the background for the template.
