The non-profit Center for Mindful Self-Compassion (CMSC) is offering free daily 45-minute drop-in sessions for anyone interested in meditating together during this time of social-distancing and quarantine. These sessions will be led by senior Mindful Self-Compassion teachers and be comprised of a short opening talk, a guided meditation of about 20-25 minutes and then a time at the end for unmuting for brief comments and time to wave goodbye. Short and sweet. Nothing fancy. Will you join us for this?

We are also pleased to offer two weekly "Affinity Practice Sessions", one devoted to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) and one for LGBTQI2S+ people. See the schedule for details. Please note that these sessions are only for those who claim these identities themselves and not for those who identify as "allies" of those with the identities.
If you are curious about who the teacher for a session will be, you can see the teacher signup up page here. Please note that the teachers are also volunteers. In some cases, we may not have a teacher to guide a session. When there is no teacher, we will cancel that session about a week ahead of time and you will be notified by email. We appreciate your understanding.
Note: We highly recommend, because of the size of these events, that you click "Calendar View" below to see the full schedule in one screen. Most days have sessions at 5am, 7am, and 4pm Pacific Daylight Time. (To get your local time simply Google "What time is ___ PDT?" and it will return with your local time)
This free offering is made out of our sincere desire to support humankind in this challenging time. We would ask that you consider, if you can, giving a modest contribution to our organization so that we can continue to share self-compassion with the world. Follow this link to make a contribution of any amount, and we completely understand if this is not possible for you at this time.
