Help needed now! The VProject, a community initiative to educate, motivate, and vaccinate the entire Northwest Ohio corridor to dramatically slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, needs volunteers.
They are coordinating an outbound call center to help get the word out about the vaccine and to help individuals schedule. Volunteers are needed evenings and weekends to help at the call center and for canvassing neighborhoods.
Using the most up-to-date data, volunteers will reach out to areas of Lucas and Wood counties with low response rates (talking points are provided). This effort is being coordinated with a large-scale marketing and advertising effort as well as neighborhood canvassing and community vaccination pods.
The call center is located at the Emergency Operations Center, 2411 Monroe St. Toledo, Ohio 43604.
