We live in a time when so much in this world seems to divide us. We are divided on politics, race, sexuality, pandemic response, the list goes on and on. As Christians, we must ask ourselves these questions: • In a defensive and divided era, how can followers of Jesus reveal a better way of living, one that loves others as God loves us? • How can Christians be the kind of people who are known, as Proverbs puts it, to "turn away wrath?" • How can Christians hold true to what we believe in, in a world where we sometimes come under attack? • How do we respond when confronted by anger, incivility and discord? Using Scott Saul’s compelling new book, we will learn how to become people of "a gentle answer" in a politically, relationally, and culturally fractured world. We will attempt to catch a vison to forsake “us against them” mentalities, put down our swords, and "inject" gentleness in a hostile world while holding true to what it means to be a follower of Jesus. We need to be the voice, the hands, and feet of Jesus in these fractured, polarized times. Join Jim Klepper to discover what we need to do. “A gentle answer turns away wrath…” - Proverbs 15:1
