Lexington Goes Purple 2018

Purple Puppy Promenade

Lexington Goes Purple For The Longest Day

Every day caring for someone with Alzheimer’s is the Longest Day.  Caring for an Alzheimer’s patient is an act of love.  Each year, on a day on or around the summer solstice, we honor Alzheimer’s patients and caregivers by doing something we love for an entire day.

The Purple Puppy Promenade

Walk your precious pup in our Purple Puppy Promenade to support the Alzheimers Association’s Longest Day Event. Make a donation and receive a purple bandana for your furry friend. Our 1 mile walk starts at the Depot and continues on the Lexington Bike Path to Parker Meadow and back to the Depot. A photo booth will be available to capture the event. Dress your pooch in purple for a chance to win a prize. All dogs must be leashed.   Donations benefit the Alzheimer's Association.  Register below.
