We need volunteers to distribute prepared meal kits and help
DRIVE OUT HUNGER
this Holiday Break!
These meal kits will be distributed multiple times a week directly to the communities and children we serve!
Nearly 1 million children in Georgia schools are eligible to receive free or reduced-price breakfast & lunch, a crucial meal that disappears in the summer and school breaks. Holiday break feedings, through the dedication of thousands of volunteers and donors, will continue to ensure that these children are fed during the COVID-19 outbreak. While we will continue to serve meals for school-age children, however, it will look different this holiday break! To keep our kids, volunteers and staff safe, we are packing and distributing non-perishable meal kits instead of sack lunches.
Our team at HOPE Atlanta is working diligently to serve our communities through the COVID-19 outbreak! HOPE Atlanta is committed to the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors. We are closely monitoring announcements from the Governor and the CDC to ensure that we are following recommended guidelines. We are requiring that all volunteers wear cloth masks or secure bandanas and gloves while serving with HOPE Atlanta
