2020 Walk MS: Wilmington

2020 Walk MS: Wilmington

Your health and well-being are top of mind as we closely monitor the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in our communities.

We are following the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that organizations serving higher risk populations (such as people living with MS) cancel gatherings of 10 or more people. Thus, we are canceling or postponing all National MS Society in-person events, programs and State Action Days through April 12. We feel this is a necessary step to help protect all those involved in the MS movement and support our local communities in preventing the spread of COVID-19.

We will monitor the situation and share updates by March 25 for events, programs and State Action Days scheduled after April 12.

Walk MS is an inspiring event – but it's so much more than just a walk! Walk MS is the 12th largest fundraising event in the United States, raising over $45 million dollars every year to change the world for everyone affected by MS.

Families, corporate groups and individuals are encouraged and welcome to volunteer. Groups and individuals of all ages and abilities are invited to volunteer. We are always looking for youth clubs, corporate, and service-oriented community groups to lend a hand before, during, and after our events.

When you decide to volunteer, you become part of the MS movement--a collective of passionate individuals, moving together to create a world free of MS. Together we provide support, have fun, and make a difference in the lives of people living with MS.

Together, we become a powerful force!
