Volunteer Check-In

Activities Include: Checking in volunteers, ensuring paperwork is turned in and volunteers receive a t-shirt and instructions for their volunteer shift.

 

Set Up (7)

Activities include: Unloading and distributing supplies, setting up tents, tables, and chairs, hanging banners and signage, decorating tents and tables (heavy lifting required up to 50lbs)

 

Registration/Cyclist Check-in Team (10)

Activities include: Setting up, checking-in cyclists, collecting pledge envelopes and donations, providing general event information, ensuring event waivers are completed (additional training required and provided on site; Background check required)

Hydration Station (2)

Activities Include: Setting up/taking down hydration area. Welcoming and encouraging/congratulating participants, mixing sports drinks, serving beverages, icing down beverages and replenishing supplies as needed, keeping hydration area clean.

 

Luggage Truck Crew (7)

Activities Include: Welcoming participants, ensuring luggage is properly tagged, checking participants' luggage in/out of secured area, lifting and moving duffle bags and luggage cases, providing excellent customer service.

 

Breakfast Service (7)

Activities Include: Setting up and organizing food service area, handing out/serving food to participants, cleaning up area and putting away supplies. *Basic and safe food preparation and handling is required*

Say cheese! You will be tasked with capturing team photos, start & finish line, participants along the route and overall photo ops throughout the event. Volunteer must own a digital camera and be able to submit photos to the office.

 
7:00am - 9:00am  

Start Line Spirit Crew!

Activities Include: Cheering on all our cyclists as they start/finish their ride! You are welcome to bring noise-makers (cowbells, whistles, clappers), and general cheering items (pom-poms, homemade signs, ect.) If you've got SPIRIT we need YOU!

Activities Include: Cheering on all our cyclists as they pass your cheer zone! You are welcome to bring noise-makers (cowbells, whistles, clappers), cheering items (pom-poms, homemade signs, ect.) and a folding chair. If you've got SPIRIT we need YOU!

 
Ocean Avenue Sports Bar & Grill 10:00am - 2:00pm  

Ocean Avenue Cheer Crew! (5)

Activities Include: Cheering on all our cyclists as they pass your cheer zone! You are welcome to bring noise-makers (cowbells, whistles, clappers), cheering items (pom-poms, homemade signs, ect.), and a folding chair! If you've got SPIRIT we need YOU!
