The Boys and Girls Club is excited to host Sarah Parsons for four days during School's Out Club’s In this December! Sarah Parsons has spent over 30 years working with watercolor painting. She studied anthroposophic Light, Color, and Darkness Painting Therapy at the Emerald Foundation in the Netherlands. Sarah will lead a relaxing painting session which will take place for 1 hour a day with room for 20 children in two separate sessions. Each child will have one project to build on during the 4 sessions and will bring it home at the end. The children will have the opportunity to work with seasonal verses as prompts and explore the colors of the natural world using a variety of mediums.
Please make sure your child can attend ALL FOUR SESSIONS if you sign them up! This is a progressive class!
Sarah will bring elements of her background in therapy to these fun sessions, but ultimately, this is a chance for the children to explore working artistically. Whether therapy or art, working in color is always a powerful experience!
There is no age limit to sign up, but please make sure they can attend all 4 sessions if you sign them up!
