2020-2021 North Campus Food Service Volunteers
The North Campus Food Service program is seeking volunteers for the 2020-2021 school year! Hot Lunch will continue to be offered to students 5 days each week!
The volunteer hours are approximately from 11:45 AM-1:00 PM and the commitment is 1 to 2 times per month. A Crew of 2 people will be assigned to a Vendor. Note the decrease in Crew size to allow for social distancing. The Hot Lunch Menus will also be simplified initially to facilitate in distribution and ensure safety.
The Crew will consist of the Food Service Manager (myself), the Food Service Assistant (Jessie Kubacki) and 2 Volunteers each day. The Crew will work every 3-4 weeks. Volunteer responsibilities include sorting food from the Vendors, delivering to classrooms and assisting with cleanup in the Food Service area.
Masks are required. Gloves and sanitation products will be provided. COVID screening and temperatures will be taken by the Front Office upon arrival following the HFRS Protocol that will be established by Jennifer Engel, HFRS Volunteer Coordinator.
Due to the revised visitor policy, small children are not able to accompany the parent during the Volunteer time.
If you are able to assist, please sign up as a "Crew Member" and note under the comments:
- Preference/availability on the day you are able to volunteer or if you are flexible
- If you are flexible to volunteer multiple days
- If you have worked on a previous Crew, please note the Vendor name
(Crew preferences may not be able to be accommodated due to the reduced Crew size.)
If you are not able to commit to being on a crew, but could assist as a substitute on an as needed basis, please sign up as a "Substitute" and note under the comments "Sub Only".
Signups are needed by Sunday, August 16, 2020. The first lunch service is tentatively scheduled on Tuesday, September 8th. This date is subject to change.
