BF&M 10K Run & Walk - Saturday, 18th January 2020
Welcome back to our valued race weekend volunteers, and a super warm welcome to our new recruits! Click below on your desired slot, scroll down and click on the sign up box at bottom of page. Complete your contact details and an email confirmation and reminder will follow.
Students are eligible to earn community service hours. In the interest of safety, students who choose to marshal must do so alongside an adult as the second marshal, as the role involves an ability to clearly communicate with drivers and monitor traffic. For infield / finish line slots, we encourage students to volunteer freely for these roles (non-marshalling), eg, handing out medals, assisting in the bag/water tents, greeting runners.
Regarding course marshals, you'll note that certain slots are marked "Course Marshals (Adults)". These locations have the highest volume of traffic and hurried drivers. For this reason adults are mandatory (students not eligible). Again this is for the safety of our valued volunteers and we appreciate your understanding.
In advance of race day please review your location and surrounding roads, determine how best to assist drivers if necessary. You will receive further instructions at the volunteer pre-race meeting and we are always available to assist with questions in the meantime.
Race Date: Saturday 18th January 2020
