PAYMENT

Outdoor classes are $10 per student.

Online classes have a suggested contribution of $5-$10 per class.

Payments can be made via Venmo or Zelle. You can pay anytime for online classes. Please pay on the same day for outdoor classes (in case we need to adjust for weather). 

My Venmo is @Michelle-Lehrman and my cell number for Zelle will be included in post-class e-mails.

If you are out of work or your income has been impacted, please let me know. You are still welcome in class!

OUTDOOR CLASSES

Outdoor classes will continue as long as the weather allows! Outdoor classes will be offered through the winter when the forecast shows nice weather. You will be notified about all classes by e-mail.

I primarily teach power yoga, and will make accommodations to the practice to account for heat and humidity. We will connect movement with breath, and I will always offer modifications. All levels are welcome!

Classes take place in Riverside Park between 93rd & 94th Streets (enter the park at 91st or 95th Street). There is a nice flat area with plenty of shade. A screenshot and photo are included in weekly announcement e-mails.

We will practice social distancing and I will not offer hands-on adjustments. Masks should be worn to and from class, and you are welcome to remove your mask once you are on your mat and 6' away from other practitioners. If you come with someone you live with, you can practice next to each other.

You will need:

  • Yoga mat
  • Hand towel and/or mat towel
  • Water
  • MASK for before and after class
  • Layered clothing (recommended for colder days)
  • Socks with traction (recommended for colder days)
  • Hand sanitizer (optional and recommended)
  • Towel or blanket to place under your mat (optional and recommended)

*Empty classes will be canceled 12 hours prior to the class start time. Decisions to cancel based on weather forecast will be made 2 hours prior to class.*

ONLINE CLASSES

Students who have registered will receive a Zoom link one hour in advance. If you would like to join class less than an hour prior to the class start time, please contact me directly so I can send the link. You will also receive an optional playlist (we will all hit play at the same time).

You may choose to keep your camera on or off. I will be able to offer specific instruction to those who leave cameras on. A model practitioner will be available during each class and students will be directed to pin their video (optional) before we begin. This will allow me to focus on you without shifting my attention to demonstration.

You will need:

  • Yoga mat
  • Hand towel and/or mat towel
  • Water
  • Yoga block(s) (optional and recommended)
    • If you do not have a yoga block, improvise! You can use a water bottle, dumbbell, or any other sturdy prop.
  • Meditation cushion or pillow (optional)
  • Anything else that helps you! Candle, oil diffuser, music, etc.

 

WEEKEND CANCELATION POLICY & NO-SHOW (in-person only)

In order to maintain social distancing and safety, in-person classes are limited to 12 participants. Weekend classes tend to fill, and for this reason, I need to create a policy for cancelations and no-shows.
If you need to cancel for any reason with less than 6 hours before the class start time, or if you are signed up and do not come, please pay for your spot. With less than 6 hours, it is less likely that another student will be able to take the spot, especially for morning classes. This new policy is on the honor system - I will not reach out other than with the automated e-mail that goes out after classes. You do not need to pay for classes that are canceled due to weather.
As we move forward into the fall season, I will offer classes as frequently as possible! Please respect the limited number of students that I can have - if you sign up, please show up!
