2021 Earth Day Parks Cleanup

The City of Waukesha is celebrating its 125th Anniversary!  As part of the celebration, we invite you to “Take care of our City for the future. Spend 125 minutes making Waukesha Better”.  We are also celebrating National Volunteer Week - April 18th-24th...consider beginning or continuing to volunteer with WPRF!  125 years of volunteering will be on display at Team Check in during this event-don't miss it!

Form a team to help up downtown Waukesha or one of your favorite neighborhood parks.

Team leaders check-in and receive clean up supplies from 8:00am - 9:00am at Schuetze Recreation Center 1120 Baxter St, Waukesha.

Important!  Team Leaders - please register your group by adding your information to the sign up genius.  Please specify the "name" of your group or organization's name in the comments section as you are signing up!  Team leaders must fill out and return the Volunteer Lead form (attached to this sign up & due by Monday, April 12th) and complete a brief orientation prior to voluteering (forms can be sent to [email protected])  Upon sucessful complettion of background check, our Volunteer Coordinator will call Team Leaders for a quick orientation.  Please distrubute the one day event volunteer registration form to your team members prior to Saturday, April 24th and submit them when you pick up cleanup supplies on day of event.  Please note if team members are under the age of 18, a parent/guardian must sign permission for them to volunteer.

Teams are invited to conduct their cleanup in their designated park from 9:00am-11:05am (125 minutes!).  

Please choose one sign up spot per team/family.

Commitment to Safety - We will follow all orders issued by our Federal, State and Local Government.  The offerings, policy and programs are subject to change at any time pending Government Orders.  

Volunteers are required to wear a face mask at all times and maintain at least 6' of social distancing from other volunteers, staff and community members.
