The Sharing Shelf
Help The Sharing Shelf from the comfort of your own home or by engaging your friends, business colleagues or the local community. With your helping hands, we can ensure that every infant, child and teen we serve receives hygiene kits, a lasting set of diapers, new socks, new underwear and other essentials.
Through this link, you can register to organize a drive or let us know that you are supporting our work by providing these daily essentials.
Did you know?
SNAP benefits, commonly known as food stamps, do not cover hygiene products such as soap and shampoo or menstrual products? They do not cover diapers and wipes. Many children we serve do not own enough underwear or have enough socks to last a week. Sadly, children often skip school or suffer from low self-esteem because of this, which impacts their performance and may contribute to dropping out, with life long consequences.
Our virtual volunteer opportunities are:
- Diaper drives and donate diapers
- Underwear drives and donate underwear (3T - Adult XXL)
- Sock drives and donate socks (infant through adult)
- Create hygiene kits for babies, children and teens
- Create layette accessory sets for babies

Students who need school community service hours: Create a time log of all of your work, from planning to completion. We will send you an email acknowledgement after you drop off that you can print and attach to your log to show your school.
Once you've completed your drive or project, schedule your drop-off here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/dropoffvirtualvolunteer
