General Volunteer List
Thank you for volunteering as a Lake Hopatcong Water Scout. Water Scouts are responsible for seeking out and removing instances of the invasive water chestnut species in Lake Hopatcong. The Water Scouts are expected to survey their assigned area at least once between Mid-June and Mid-July. Please review the available locations on this map before making your selection below. Once you've chosen your location, hit the "Submit and Sign Up" button on the bottom of the screen.
If you have not done so already, we encourage you to signup as a Lake Hopatcong Foundation volunteer and review our volunteer handbook, in order to receive the most current volunteer information and understand your rights and responsibilities as a volunteer.
If you have questions on becoming a Water Scout, please email [email protected] or call 973-663-2500.
