Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Lake Roland. The work of the Environmental & Historic Preservation Committee helps maintain the natural and historical built environments to benefit the park and park users.
The Environmental & Historic Preservation Committee periodically have events that welcome volunteers, some of these include:
- Spring & Fall Native Plant Sale – These plant sales are held in partnership with the Guilford Garden Club and include hundreds of native plants that thrive in area back yards and garden and attract pollinators.
- Task specific outings in project focus areas including the Bare Hills Serpentine Barrens (insert link to Bare Hills Barrens description) and areas around the Lake Roland Nature Center.
Please check the Nature Council Calendar and this site to learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities.
Baltimore County and the Lake Roland Nature Council require that individuals who want to volunteer must complete and submit a Lake Roland Volunteer Form and a Lake Roland Nature Council Volunteer Coronavirus/COVID-19 Form.
