COVID-19 Virtual Town Hall

Research demonstrates mistrust and resistance to the COVID-19 vaccine across communities of color due to unethical historical health practices and long-standing inequities in the healthcare system.

The Burlington County Health Department (BCHD) and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Epsilon Zeta Sigma Chapter will host a free public conversation led by local health care professionals and New Jersey community members who will address facts, fears, and myths. Jennifer Estrada, the Burlington County COVID Coordinator, will moderate the discussion, which will feature the following esteemed panelists:

  • Dr. Zupenda Davis-Shine, DrPH, MPH, MCHES, Director of Health Education at the Burlington County Health Department, Westampton, NJ
  • Crystal D. Charley-Sibley, MBA, Director of Black Health Equity, Salvation and Social Justice
