Per the Student Handbook, students who have been given permission to remediate or delay an exam may do so either during the student's vacation period and within the University's hours of operation, when not enrolled in another clerkship, or following the end of the Clerkship Year. Delayed exams will not be scheduled during other course activities and will be scheduled within the normal work day (8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., M-F) when the University is open.
Note: Students who choose to take their exam at a prometric center are responsible for paying the difference in exam fees (prometric exams are more expensive). Student who have exam accomodations must indicate this in the comments so that a seat may be booked at the Exam Proctoring Center.
Exam Location: Pre-Covid, unless the student has an exam accomodation, the exam will take place in Med Ed 200 or another LCOM classroom with other students completing Clerkship Level Exams. Due to COVID 19 and social distancing rules, exams will be offered remotely.
Please sign-up to indicate that you must take/remediate an exam, and indicate which exam. The coordinator will work directly with the student to determine when the exam can be retaken. Following the end of the Clerkship Year, students may work directly with the Clerkship Coordinator to take the exam during a scheduled exam time for that specific clerkship.
