Acting Up "Share the Wealth" Day!

Following a devastating fire to our set shop & storage facility in June 2019, Acting Up has been blessed by the generosity of other community theaters and individuals in our community!  In December 2020, an Ohio theater that is closing its doors after 20 years gifted us their entire collection of sets, props, and costumes!

We have sorted through this amazing gift, and have consolidated it with our own collection.  We are fortunate to have more than we can use now, and hope these items can benefit other theaters in our area! We will be hosting a "share the wealth" day on Saturday, February 27 to allow others to come and look through what we have set aside to share.  We realize the last year has been very difficult for community theaters, and are offering these items for free, however, we will have a donation jar available should you be able to contribute.

Due to COVID-19, only one theater will be permitted to look through the items at a time, and we ask that you please sign up for a time slot for your group.  Slots are 30-min in length, however, if you think you will require more time, you may sign up for up to 2 consecutive slots.  Masks, covering both the nose and mouth, must be worn in our building at all times.

We will have the following available: 8-10 racks of costumes, wigs, multiples tubs of hats, shoes, patterns and accessories, old fashioned bottles, glassware, china dolls, vintage books, chairs, end tables, artwork, lamps, stairs, rugs, silverware, small containers, dishes, baskets, mirrors, telephones, ice skates, lanterns, candlesticks, sturdy plastic hangers, and MORE!

Acting Up is located at 108 E. Church St, Mason, OH.
