Embrace Ausome

WJ Embrace Ausome Workshops

Embrace Ausome is a nonprofit organization dedicated to destigmatizing mental illnesses and benefitting students with special needs through tutoring, pen pals, and extracurricular activities. You can sign up to be a part of the Tutoring and Pen Pal projects on the Embrace Ausome website (https://www.embraceausome.org). The chapter of Embrace Ausome at Walter Johnson High School is launching a series of fun, educational, hands-on  virtual workshops to introduce MCPS students with special needs to subjects and concepts that supplement their learning in school. Below are our workshops and a short description of what they're about. Feel free to sign up for as many as you'd like. If you have any questions or suggestions for future workshops, contact the WJ EA President, Emily Hsu, through her email ([email protected]). We look forward to meeting everyone on Zoom!
