BP Volunteers

2021 Lake Hopatcong Block Party

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS! Teamwork makes the annual Lake Hopatcong Block Party dream work, and WE NEED YOU ON OCTOBER 2! Whether you're helping with parking (so much parking!), vendors (so many vendors!), educational games, boat rides, entertainment, 50/50 raffle sales, etc. etc. your help is truly needed to bring this celebration of the lake and lake community to life!

As always, we encourage all volunteers to quickly review the Lake Hopatcong Foundation volunteer handbook before signing up, as you are agreeing to the rights and responsibilities within when you volunteer for this and other LHF opportunities.

If there is a specifc Block Party job you have done in the past or one that interests you, please leave it in the comment section when signing up. If you are part of a pre-organized group (scouts, school, civic group, etc.), consider leaving that in the comments as well, so we can keep your group working in the same area, as best we can.

If you can stay most of the day, please consider signing-up for multiple shifts and know we are eternally grateful for the help!

Finally, we will hold two special volunteer training days at Hopatcong State Park on Wednesday, September 29th and Thursday, September 30th at 6PM, and we encourage all Block Party volunteers to join us for ONE of the days. If you cannot join us for the trainings, that does not prevent you from volunteering on October 2. Just come prepared to take direction from our Volunteers-in-Charge (VICs) that day!

::WAVES OF THANKS FOR YOUR HELP MAKING OUR BIGGEST EVENT OF THE YEAR COME TO LIFE!::
