There are many ways to give love and spread joy and make the holidays happier for someone else. At the top of our wish list for this season is providing warm, nutritious and healthy meals for our shelter residents, which can only be fulfilled with your help. Thank you for giving of your time and resources to make our dinner meals brighter for those we serve - we are certainly counting our many blessings from you this year and give them back to you and yours in return – Happy Holidays!
FYI - WE ARE SIGNING OFF ON SERVICE HOURS FOR STUDENTS WHO PREPARE AND DELIVER MEALS IF THEY PROVIDE THEIR OWN TIMESHEET.

Grassroots provides three meals daily for up to 50 shelter residents in our on-site commercial kitchen. We rely heavily on community support to feed our residents.
You can help by preparing a fully cooked meal or entrée to serve about 50 people. Meals can be prepared with your own ingredients or purchased. For example, rotisserie chickens are helpful to have on hand (we would need 12 to make a meal).
If frozen, you may deliver your meal in advance of your chosen date.

We will also accept donations to purchase meals. A dinner meal that we prepare cost approximately $150. Donations can be made online at: http://grassroots.hocomojo.org/donate/
