Gloria Dei Church
We are so thrilled to finally gather as a community of faith in our beautiful house of worship! We know many of you have been craving in-person worship in the Sanctuary with your fellow believers, and we are happy to be able to offer this opportunity.
Some items to be aware of to keep everyone as safe as possible:
Masks must be worn at all times, and no food or drink will be allowed.
Everyone will enter and exit through the Founders' Way doors ONLY.
As you arrive, we ask that you kindly stay socially distant from other groups while we check each person's temperature with a no-touch thermometer and check everyone in off of the list. You MUST RSVP by noon on Friday, October 30. Follow the ushers instructions on where to sit socially distanced in the Sanctuary.
There can be NO congregational singing. Feel free to hum along as you enjoy the musical offerings from GDC's talented music ministry team.
For the Litany, Statement of Faith, & Lord's Prayer, please only mouth or whisper the words under your mask.
There will be no nursery or Sunday School. If children attend worship, they must worship with their parents.
Ushers will dismiss you row by row following the service. Please take a communion "to go" cup with you as you leave.
Please know that we will continue to livestream this 10:00 a.m. service, so we encourage you to watch from home if you are feeling uncomfortable at all about gathering with others, or if you have or a close contact loved one has a compromised immune system or any underlying health concerns. It will be the same service here at church as it is watching from home!
In order to attend this in-door, in-person worship service, everyone planning to participate must be able to answer "No" to each of the following questions:
- Have you or anyone in your household had any of the following symptoms in the last 21 days: sore throat, cough, chills, body aches for unknown reasons, shortness of breath for unknown reasons, loss of smell, loss of taste, fever at or greater than 100 degrees Fahrenheit?
- Have you or anyone in your household tested positive for COVID-19?
- Have you or anyone in your household traveled to hotspots in the U.S. in the past 14 days?
- To the best of your knowledge, have you been in close proximity to any individual who tested positive for COVID-19?
If you were able to answer "No" to all 4 questions, then please RSVP below by noon on Friday, October 30.
We look forward to seeing you!
