Guidelines for Volunteering at SCC:
UPDATED 8/2/21- With the dual threat of the rapidly rising number of COVID cases in NWA and the continued low regional vaccination rates, the Samaritan Community Center has seen a significant increase in the number of staff members and volunteers who have become sick, exposed and/or quarantined. Our desire is to determine the best protocols, policies and procedures to follow as an organization based on CDC guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and those with whom we come in contact while continuing to serve those in need across NWA.
In response to the current COVID trends and the latest CDC guidelines, masks are required of all staff and volunteers (vaccinated and unvaccinated) at all locations inside of our buildings.
-Teens and children as young as 12 can volunteer if accompanied by parent.
-Please wear close toe shoes.
-When you arrive, enter the community center through the front doors. Please sign-in and make a nametag before heading back to the packing area.
