Saint Mary of Sorrows
Each Praying Sister commits to a Holy Hour one day a week, (on an assigned day, Mon-Sun) for the needs and intentions of their assigned St. Mary's Deacon. Women who undertake this apostolate seek to be a hidden and silent presence, in imitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, supporting our Deacons with their prayers.
During your holy hour, you may pray any of your favorite Catholic prayers or offer your Mass with prayers. Commitment is for a year and automatically renews. A pool of SUBSTITUTES are available to sub during an emergency (e.g. medical/family/travel, etc). Holy hour is for the assigned Deacon's sanctification in general protection, specific spiritual and temporal needs, his ever-deepening devotion to Our Blessed Mother and increased devotion to St. Joseph, model of fortitude and purity.
You will commit a holy hour once a week on assigned day, for assigned Deacon in a Catholic Church, in Eucharistic Adoration or front of tabernacle. Mass may be offered for your assigned Deacon.
Location:
Any Catholic Church - in front of the tabernacle OR in Eucharistic Adoration.
