2019 Summer Transitional Shelter: St. Giles Catholic Church

1045 Columbian Avenue

DINNER PROVIDERS:

You are asked to provide & prepare dinner onsite at the shelter for up to 15 guests and whoever in your group wants to eat too. Guests will help to prepare dinner and help clean up alongside the meal providers. Dinner will be served family style. Housing Forward provides plates, cups, and utensils. Food should arrive at between 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm. Some dinner ideas include: Spaghetti and meatballs, casseroles, lasagna, meatloaf and mashed potatoes, hamburgers and hot dogs, stews, shepherds pie, baked chicken. Add a side salad or vegetable with a dessert of cookies/brownies/ice cream and you are set! Drinks of milk, juice, iced tea and water are great too. Remember it is 15 people plus whoever is eating from your group. You can cook at the church or prepare it at home and then bring it to the site.
