Haverford Township Trail Volunteers
Make a difference in Haverford Township’s parks and trails this spring!
Calling all Volunteers! Haverford Township has over 17 miles of walking trails available to the public in addition to over 30 parks and we need your help! Some of our parks and trails have become overrun by invasive species such as multi-flora rose, Japanese knotweed, garlic mustard, and more.
Be a part of the solution. We have volunteer days planned for March-August 2022 to remove invasive species and plant natives. We need a large network of people (YOU!) constantly controlling these species or they will continue to ravage our parks and trails. Throughout 2021, our community gave us over 1,000 hours of their time to improve our parks and trails. Together, we can make a difference. This spring and summer, we will continue to remove unwanted species. The project requires minimal equipment and zero knowledge because our trained staff will work with you every step of the way.
Sign up now or email to help in the future. The feeling of community in Haverford Township has always been considerable. One of the reasons is we have many dedicated volunteers who give generously of their time and talent. We look forward to hearing from you! Email Jesse Hart ([email protected]).
You will be contacted prior to the event with information about what to bring and where to meet.
