Indian Hill Church elementary
Our Daily Bread is a soup kitchen that serves the homeless population of Cincinnati (1730 Race Street). The kitchen has asked for help in providing meals for the homeless. They are serving over 500 homeless people a day.
In 2020, we provided 8300 sandwiches to Our Daily Bread!
You can help by purchasing sandwiches or making sandwiches at home. We have also signed up to bring fresh fruit and dessert. Fruit may only be bananas or oranges as many in the homeless population have a hard time chewing harder fruits. Dessert can be homemade or purchased, but must be individually packaged. Drop off items on Tuesday between 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM or on Wednesday morning before 9:00 AM. Drop off at the Indian Hill Church front porch.
1. Our Daily Bread guests tend to prefer white bread over wheat and turkey, pepperoni, and bologna over other meats like ham or roast beef. (No condiments please.)
2. Place sandwiches in a sandwich baggie and label contents (meat or PB&J).
3- Deliver sandwiches on Tuesday between 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM or Wednesday morning between 7:30 AM -9:00 AM to the Indian Hill Church 6000 Drake Road. Coolers are on the porch for contactless drop off.
