Auburn Bay Clean Up Event

Volunteer Sign-up

April 30, 2022.

Please choose for the available clean-up locations for the date to clean-up trash in public areas of Auburn Bay.  Sign-up is for 1-2 hours of time any time between 10am-2pm, you do not have to pick a specific start time.  Slots are stated as 2 people as we looking to cover as much space as possible and to make distancing easy.  You may book a household for numbered location, just sign up once and note additional names in comments section of sign up.  

Volunteers will get a confirmation email within a day of sign up providing details and their assigned location. 

On clean-up day volunteers will:

- Start with in-person check in by the CA shed @ 234 Auburn Bay Ave SE to get your trash bags and gloves.

- Safety first!  Stay Covid compliant. Stay out of storm ponds. Don’t pick up sharp objects. 

- Leave bagged trash near a main road (AB Blvd, or AB Ave). Volunteers will drive around and pick it up. 

- Check out by text/phone when you are done OR... check out at Future CA site at 234 Auburn Bay Ave SE and grab a drink and thank you snack! 

What is provided:  Trash bags, Disposable gloves, Drinks and snacks at CA Shed during 1-2pm.

What you should bring: Dress for the weather, Comfy footwear, Mask and sanitizer for when you at check-in or meet-up.
